It has been proclaimed that Britney Spears testament open this year's MTV Video Music Awards, but not as a performer.
Billboard reports that MTV Networks Music Group President Van Toffler aforesaid Spears' appearance on Sunday night's express would involve something "fun and unexpected".
Commenting, Spears aforementioned: "MTV has long played an significant role in my life history. How tin I non be there to kick off their 25th VMAs? I'm excited to open the entire show, to say hi to my fans and to be nominated."
Spears is nominated for three MTV Awards, including Video of the Year for 'Piece of Me'.
